Charmingly Specific Illustrations That Are Smaller than a Penny

With amazing perfection, California-based specialist Sam Larson generates small illustrations that are no bigger than a penny. To confirm it, he locations a cent right next to the sketches and records them on Instagram.

In the pictures, Larson controls to consist of great information, color, and covering that need close examination to completely appreciate. His wide range of scenes function hills, waterways, bison, cowboys, and many Western styles. "I collect my motivation from the United states West," he says :
"I like to get out into the hills and desert whenever possible.”
In 2013, Larson grabbed a pen after a 5-year break from developing his paintings. He found motivation by publishing a nighttime illustrating to his Instagram consideration, @samlarson, revealing that, "It was an exercise that organised me responsible, and the encouragement assisted keep me going.”

In 1992, a strangely curious man named Wu Anai, near the Chinese village of Shiyan Beicun in Longyou County, based on a hunch, began to pump water out of a pond in his village. Anai believed the pond was not natural, nor was it infinitely deep as the local lore went, and he decided to prove it. He convinced some of his villagers and together they bought a water pump and began to siphon water out of the pond.
