Amazing Images of Stunning Star Paths in the Evening Sky

Singapore-based photographer Justin Ng catches absolutely spectacular photos of night sky, including these dazzling pictures of star trails bending over various scenery. Star pathway pictures show the obvious motion of the stars across the sky due to the rotation of the Earth.

Ng's pictures, which are enhanced in Photoshop, are particularly unique because of the unusual colors and unique manage development of some of the star trails, leading to one-of-a-kind pictures that display the incredible beauty of night sky.

According to Ng, seeking astrophotography in Singapore is challenging because of the heavy mild contamination from city lights. The self-taught photographer, who only started shooting in 2010, relies on electronically putting individual pictures to create his otherworldly composite images.

While Ng's method for circumventing light contamination results in stunning and creative pictures, the photographer says, "I hope everyone can do their part to stop light contamination so we can preserve our dark sky for years to come."
