This spectacular winter wonderland is a freezing network of caverns, archways, glacial components, and tunnels in Colorado, The state of utah, and New Hampshire. Designer Brent Christensen started building these crazy styles when he and his family first shifted to The state of utah. A mixture of creative effort and cottage high temperature led to his first at-home attempt which his kids known as the "Ice Castle." He progressively designed his idea and has since shifted from the backyard into much bigger areas where everyone is welcome to purchase tickets and walk through.
Each winter, Christensen and a full group of artists start by producing more than 5,000 icicles that are then gathered and organized together as the scaffold of the structures. The large structure is then drenched in water twice a day for a couple of weeks until the ice is dense enough to carve. Each castle contains surprising freezing components due to natural communications like temperature ranges and wind along with hand-carved systems and passageways. The amazing styles are made completely out of 20,000 pounds of ice and snowfall that are primary for exploration!
