American photographer Octavio Aburto thrives on the amazing globe of lifestyle in the sea. Since 1994, Aburto has captured marine environments in Mexican seaside rich waters. He has recorded everything from individual creatures to massive educational institutions of fish journeying in coordinated movements.

This completely awe-inspiring sequence features huge groups of fish going about their everyday, underwater lives. While snorkeling one day in Mexico, Aburto and his friend David Castro came upon these circulating tornado-like types which turned out to be countless numbers of fish in the middle of a reproductive courtship.
