The Manta Resort is a wonderful, multi-room hotel that rests on the Indian Ocean isle of Pemba. The amazing vacation provides not only a place to rest your head for the night, but also some truly spectacular opinions from its exclusive, underwater space. The floating structure, made of local real wood, provides three levels of watching for guests to absorb the scenic environment from above, below, and at sea level.
Designed by Mikael Genberg of the Swedish company Genberg Underwater Hotels, The Manta Underwater Room is basically a private structural isle that drifts off the east coast of Africa, providing an awe-inspiring viewpoint of the nearby scenery and marine life. With a bed room situated four metres below the surface, guests are given a exclusive viewpoint of the numerous existence of marine animals diving past and holding onto the panoramic windows.
Whether you choose to go up the steps to the top outdoor patio of the floating space to soak up some sun, stay at sea stage to rest in the relaxing area, or come down to the lower areas to view the exotic reef fish, it's sure to be an experience to remember. One could even jump from the top outdoor patio into the water or simply go snorkeling around the structural framework. The opportunities for pleasure or experience is entirely up to the visitor.
