Awesome Jolts of Lightning Complete the Night Sky

It's a complicated task for any photographer to papers illumination as it attacks down towards world in just the flicker of an eye. But, with great patience and commitment, Willoughby Owen efficiently catches all kinds of electric bolts as they light up night. By day, the 24-year-old meteorologist operates the Hamilton NZ Climate Place in Australia, but by night, he looks for rainy experience.

The majority of Owen's pictures catch a few of illumination lines as they break away from each other and colour the sky. Every storm seems to have a different shade scheme, presenting a range of vivid yellow and orange to deep blues and purples. From Nightcliff in the North Area of Australia to the borders of Lubbock in western Texas, Owen's world moves have permitted him to observe many of these natural glasses. His arrangements such as everything from one single secure attaining out of the clouds and in contact with down around a sea of haystacks, to hundreds of small initiates extending out over the abyss of the ocean.

In 1992, a strangely curious man named Wu Anai, near the Chinese village of Shiyan Beicun in Longyou County, based on a hunch, began to pump water out of a pond in his village. Anai believed the pond was not natural, nor was it infinitely deep as the local lore went, and he decided to prove it. He convinced some of his villagers and together they bought a water pump and began to siphon water out of the pond. After 17 days of pumping, the water level fell enough to reveal the flooded entrance to an ancient, man-made cave, confirming Anai’s suspicion.
