TomTom and Telmap today announce an contract for TomTom to supply charts and street data to location-based solutions provider Telmap. With this collaboration, Telmap, an Intel company, will utilize TomTom material to improve its goods and solutions, such as cellular routing applications allocated via application stores and cellular providers globally.

In addition to highly-accurate charts, Telmap customers can now accessibility other TomTom material, such as Points of Interest, Jct Opinions, 3D City Maps and Speech Maps. This allows Telmap to add new performance to its goods and solutions, which means customers of Telmap's applications will benefit from better redirecting and enhanced graphics.

"We're at the forefront of the move towards mass adoption of mobile location-based services," says Oren Nissim, Telmap Chief Executive Officer. "This means we need to have the best routing and road data available, and that's why this announcement is so important to us. Thanks to TomTom we can now deliver an even better search, mapping and navigation experience to our users, and improve the data we supply to app developers."
