Amazon Immediate Video App Now Available for iPhone and iPod touch

"Buy Once, Appreciate Everywhere" – Amazon Immediate Movie and Primary Immediate Video Clients Can Now Appreciate Films & TV Periods on iPhone and iPod touch

Amazon.com, Inc. these days introduced the Amazon Immediate Video App, enabling people to flow or download Amazon Immediate Video movies and TV episodes from their video collection directly on their iPhone or iPod contact. The app also makes more than 30,000 headings from Primary Immediate Video available to Primary members such as hit TV shows like American Horror Story, Downton Abbey and Fringe, as well as popular movies such as Hugo, Thor and Goodfellas, to flow instantly on their iPhone or iPod contact at no additional cost. Amazon announced the Amazon Immediate Video app for iPad a few months ago. With today's launch, Amazon Immediate Video is now available across iOS mobile phone devices.
"Our customers tell us they want the convenience of being able to look at all of their movies and TV episodes, wherever they are," said Anthony Bay, Amazon.com Vice President for Video. "Today we're excited to extend our 'buy once, enjoy everywhere' approach to iPhone and iPod contact users, giving customers the chance have fun with more than 140,000 headings from Amazon Immediate Video and more than 30,000 headings from Primary Immediate Video anytime, anywhere."

To observe free online video clips or TV episodes from Amazon Immediate Video on iPhone and iPod contact, customers can simply search for the content they've already rented or purchased from Amazon Immediate Video-including the newest hit movies like The Dark Knight Rises, Brave and The Amazing Spiderman and the newest episodes from TV series like The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy and The Vampire Diaries.

The Amazon Immediate Movie App for iPhone and iPod contact offers features including:

"Your Watchlist" function that lets customers compose a list of all television and TV episodes they want to look at in the future, regardless of whether they own it or not, making it easy to keep track of specific videos for later viewing.
"Your Video Library" function that gives iPhone and iPod contact customers access to purchases and rentals from Amazon Immediate Video on the web.
