Gardens by the Bay, Singapore's leading city activities space right next to Mariana Bay Sands, revealed a new fascination last month - a cutting-edge gardening super venture presenting 18 massive solar-powered "supertrees" and climate-controlled biomes.
They are fixed with environmental systems that simulate the environmental operate of vegetation – energy that utilize solar power which can be used for some of the features of the Supertrees, such as illumination, just like how vegetation photosynthesize; and selection of rain for use in watering and feature shows, just like how vegetation process rain for growth. The Supertrees also provide air consumption and fatigue features as part of the conservatories' chilling systems.
There is an raised pathway between two of the bigger Supertrees for guests to enjoy a spectacular airborne view of the Backyards. A food and drink store is organized on top of the 50-meter Supertree. At night, the Supertrees come in existence with a light and music show called the OCBC Garden Rhapsody.
