New and unique noticeable outfits chilling technological innovation to be launched to customers in Springtime 2013 and to select sportsmen much sooner
"Historically, outside and fitness manufacturers have checked out perspiration as a issue...something to be powerful away with so-called 'technical,' decades-old cotton fabrics"
Columbia Sports wear, a world head in active outside outfits, shoes and components, today declared the future Springtime 2013 option Omni-Freeze ZERO, the organization's newest innovative outfits technological innovation.
Omni-Freeze ZERO is the finale of a four-year effort to develop a new, innovative range of outfits that becomes much colder in hot, wet circumstances. Unique little blue jewelry, included and noticeable in the material of Omni-Freeze ZERO outfits and shoes, contain a special chilling plastic. When revealed to perspire or wetness, these jewelry actually expand (similar to goose bumps) creating an instant and extended chilling feeling.
"Historically, outside and fitness manufacturers have checked out perspiration as a issue...something to be powerful away with so-called 'technical,' decades-old cotton materials," said Mick McCormick, professional v. p.. "Omni-Freeze ZERO is an entirely new approach, and as opposed to anything the industry has ever seen. We see perspire as a alternative resource that will allow sportsmen, outside lovers or anyone that usually spends time in hot, wet circumstances to perspire more intelligent, staying more relaxed."
Columbia will launch the new technological innovation to customers early in the year of 2013. Omni-Freeze ZERO will be incorporated across a range of 40 styles that will include womens and gents tops, efficiency levels, head protection, fleshlight sleeves and other components. Columbia will also add Omni-Freeze ZERO to its Powerdrain shoes models to keep the shoes awesome in hot climate. The complete collection is designed to keep customers and sportsmen relaxed from go to toe, even as temperature records continue to rise.
Omni-Freeze ZERO is the newest in a sequence of new systems developed by Columbia's Performance Advancement Group (PIT). The PIT is the analysis and innovation department of Columbia Sports wear Company given the job of creating innovative customer solutions for the organization's entire brand collection, which includes Columbia, Sorel, Hill Hardwear, and Montrail.
"We see Omni-Freeze ZERO as a real game filter in terms of how individuals think about efficiency and comfort in hot climate," said Woodsy Blackford, v. p. of innovation and go of the Performance Advancement Group. "In general, individuals eliminate clothing levels to stay awesome, but provided sportsmen using Omni-Freeze ZERO have mentioned that in hot, wet circumstances, this is the first technological innovation that seems much colder and more relaxed than dressed in nothing at all. We're continuous to test the qualities of this new technological innovation in our lab and are supporting separate clinical analysis."
