New applications for unemployment by more than expected last week, but they are certainly at a high level, while those who receive unemployment insurance was a record for the 11th Weeks right.The Ministry of Labor on Thursday, the number of initial applications for unemployment benefits fell to 654,000, seasonally adjusted, compared with 674,000 in the previous week revised. More jobs were lost this week. Publisher AH Belo Corp., which is owned by the Dallas Morning News, said he would be 500 jobs, or 14 percent of its workforce. Goodyear Tire & Rubber said that a reduction of 5,000 jobs, about 7 percent of employees this year. Manufacturer Deere & Co. 160 employees at its plant near Des Moines, Iowa, is to walk more this month because of declining demand.
